Using mbed to prototype the Internet of Things
This is a simple example of how you can use mbed (mbed.org) to get a microcontroller talking to the internet. Donatien talks you through the hardware and software he used to get an RFID tag to trigger a tweet. Of course, this is just one example; what the microcontroller is looking for, and the web service it talks to is pretty flexible, so the basic approach could be used for many internet connected ideas. Der neue elektronische Personalausweis, soll ab dem 1.November 2010 ausgegeben werden. Der neue Ausweis im Scheckkartenformat soll billiger sein als der biometrische Reisepass, der 59 Euro kostet. Ein genauer Preis steht noch nicht fest, aber in anderen EU-Staaten zahlt man für ähnliche Dokumente zehn bis 42 Euro Der neue Ausweis ist weiterhin für alle Deutschen über 16 Jahren Pflicht.
